It's a sad day in Clipper land...former Buffalo Brave shooting guard Randy Smith has passed. For those that don't know any Clipper history, the Los Angeles Clippers started as the Buffalo Braves during the 1970 season. If you've ever had the luxury of viewing a media guide you would see Randy Smith's name leading the way in almost every statistical category. From leading the Braves/Clippers in assists, games played, points scored, free throws made, field goals, you name it and his name is somewhere on that list. Smith was also MVP of the 1978 All-Star game where he came off the bench and led the game with 27 points.
Randy will be missed.
